UK's 1st Co-Allergen Isolation Ladder Engine

Reintroduce foods with confidence, without cross-allergen confusion.

Reintroducing milk via the NHS CMPA ladder when your child also has Wheat or Egg allergies? Standard recipes fail. AllerStep isolates allergens, generates safe recipes, and tracks 72-hour delayed reactions.

Why Standard Food Diaries Fail Multi-Allergic Kids

Built specifically around the complexities of real NHS paediatric allergy treatment plans.

Cross-Allergen Guard

When challenging Milk Step 1, our algorithm strictly rejects wheat flour, egg binders, and soya, preventing false positive flare-ups.

72-Hour Delayed Window

Non-IgE reactions (mucous stools, eczema flare, reflux) occur days later. Automated timers track symptom onset throughout the full 72-hour window.

NHS Dietitian Export

Generate clean, timestamped clinical PDF summaries to take straight to your next paediatric allergy review without notebook chaos.

Step-by-Step Clarity

How AllerStep Guides Your Family

Reintroducing allergens doesn't have to be guesswork. AllerStep replaces messy notebooks with clinical structure.

1

Calibrate Your Child's Profile

Input your child's diagnosed allergies (e.g. CMPA, Wheat, Egg) under a safe pseudonym. Our engine automatically establishes baseline avoidance and active ladder targets.

2

Get Isolated, Safe Test Foods

When challenging milk at Step 1, standard biscuits contain wheat and egg. We generate dietitian-verified wheat-free and egg-free recipes that isolate only the challenge protein.

3

Dual-Phase Logging & Clinical Export

Track the immediate 2-hour window and 72-hour delayed digestive/skin window. Click one button to print an evidence-backed audit report for your NHS dietitian or allergy nurse.

💙 Why We Built AllerStep

Built from Our Own Journey: Giving Our 10-Year-Old the Best Chance Before Secondary School.

Like so many allergy families, our journey hasn't been straightforward. For years, we felt we didn't receive the right early interventions or structured guidance to properly challenge and reintroduce foods. As a result, our child is now 10 years old, on the threshold of starting high school / secondary school, and still managing multiple severe food allergies.

Secondary school brings a whole new world of independence, school canteens, peer pressure, and anxiety. We realised that we couldn't wait any longer: it was time to finally give reintroduction a real, rigorous, and safe go using proven NHS and British Dietetic Association (BDA) ladder protocols.

"We didn't build AllerStep as a commercial startup idea. We built it because our own family needed it right now. When you have CMPA combined with Wheat and Egg allergies, standard NHS ladder recipes fail because they contain the very ingredients your child cannot eat. We needed an engine to isolate allergens and monitor every dose with complete clinical precision."

Because we are actively using AllerStep every single day with our own child, we know the immense peace of mind it brings. We hope opening it up to other parents helps your family navigate this journey with confidence, too.
